Will sealing of Bluestone steppers change the colour of the stone?
This will depend on the sealer you are using and whether it is solvent based or water based. If you want to keep the Bluestone steppers the same colour as it is, we recommend using a water based sealer such as Porous All Stone penetrating sealer by Guard It Solutions. If you are looking to enhance and darken the colour of your Bluestone, we can supply you with our Revive and Seal’ enhanced colour sealer by Construction chemicals. Occasionally darker bluestones pavers can become hot underfoot from direct sunshine on the very hot days in Summer. We offer lighter bluestone colour options which will inherently hold less heat, as well as other paving options such as travertine and marbles if this is a concern to you. For those extremely hot days, it is also advisable to give your paving a good hose down to cool off the stone prior to walking on. My stone has some swirl marks on the surface? What are these and how can I remove them?
In the manufacturing process, the stone is cut with a diamond blade, then the surface is rubbed in a circular motion with a fine diamond pad to remove deep saw marks. This process sometimes leaves light swirl marks on the surface of the stone. Once laid and grouted the swirl marks tend to go unnoticed and will disappear over time. Will it be safe to deliver Bluestone to my home?
Our stone is packaged extremely well so it will arrive on site in good condition. We use a range of reputable and reliable freight agents to transport your order. During transit, occasional rubbing of the products face and minor chips may occur. This is accepted as normal within the landscape industry, and any chipped pieces are generally used as cuts. Industry accepted practice and our recommendation is to order 5-10% extra to allow for cuts and wastage For interstate deliveries, please allow additional time to ensure your order is packaged securely for interstate transport. For custom stone projects, such as fireplace hearths, we require a minimum of 30mm thickness to transport interstate to avoid any possible breakages. How do I cut my Bluestone tiles in Melbourne?

- Can I return any unwanted product?

What is your exhange or returns policy?
Returns and Exchange Policy:
All goods once delivered onsite or once they have left the seller’s premises are deemed to be in the care of the buyer and as such the buyer is solely responsible for their care. The buyer must inspect the goods immediately following collection or delivery.
The buyer can only return goods with the prior approval of the seller. The goods must be returned within 7days of pickup or delivery and must be in an unsold, undamaged and re-saleable state. A restocking fee of 30% is applicable on such returns. Any claim that the goods are not in accordance with these terms (including if they are defective, damaged during delivery, short delivered) must be made at the time of delivery or in writing to the seller within 48hours of delivery/pickup. If the buyer fails to make a claim then, to the extent permitted by law, the goods are deemed to have been accepted by the buyer and the buyer must pay for the goods in accordance with the terms.
Custom Orders: All specially ordered products shall only be ordered once the seller has received a minimum of 50% of the purchase price for such said goods either by EFT of clear fund showing up in the seller’s bank account or by credit card transaction. Lead times on custom orders are an estimate only, and in some cases exceed these times due to unforeseen circumstances. No refunds are applicable on custom orders.
